The Authors
Dr. William Hay is board certified in family medicine. Establishing relationships with his patients is very important to Dr. Hay, and he chose the practice of family medicine for the satisfaction, challenge, and continuity it offers in treating several generations of the same family. He was inspired to enter the medical profession by his uncle, an orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Hay is a graduate of Brookhaven High School. After earning his medical degree in Mississippi, he moved to Metairie, Louisiana, to complete his family medicine residency at East Jefferson General Hospital. He enjoys living in Brookhaven, where he and his wife are raising their family.
Myron J. Levin, MD is a professor of pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Children’s Hospital Colorado specializing in infectious diseases.
Robin R. Deterding, MD is a professor of pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Children’s Hospital Colorado specializing in pulmonary medicine.
