User Reviews for Current Diagnosis and Treatment Cardiology fifth Edition PDF

  1. Well written. Reasonably detailed without being overwhelming. Some chapters like cardiac amyloidosis, adult congenital heart disease (for example) were too superficial for a cardiology fellow, but are probably adequate for internal medicine. Good as a review book and also if you want to look up stuff quickly. It’s one step above a manual in that the explanations are quite detailed.

  2. Excellent book properly describes the disease etc

  3. Bad produc. Never come home.

  4. It is quite readable.

Download Master The Boards USMLE Step 2 CK 3rd Edition PDF [Direct Link]

Master the Boards: Step 2 CK may be a complete book for your preparation for USMLE Step 2 CK. you are doing not got to use other books. As a teacher, I buy asked tons of questions on the simplest thanks to prep. Here’s the question I hear most: “Is this enough?” the solution thereto question may be a definite “yes!” Additional materials will still assist you to strengthen what you’ve got learned, but this is often a sensible initiative to Step 2 CK success. Another question I buy is about the way to maximize medical knowledge. the simplest preparation for Step 2 CK is to find out more medicine.
Frequently, medical students wonder once they should take Step 2 CK. Well, the solution to the present question depends on your background and level of data. there’s no requirement to possess to require Step 1 before you’re taking Step 2 CK, although, for U.S. graduates, this is often almost certainly what happens. Remember, U.S. graduates don’t need to take Step 2 CK so as to participate in the annual residency match. International graduates must take Step 2 CK to be ECFMG certified. ECFMG certification is required for international graduates so as to be within the match.
For the overwhelming majority of U.S. medical students, USMLE Step 1 is usually taken at the top of the second year of school of medicine. Some schools will, in fact, require passage of Step 1 so as to be allowed promotion into the third year of faculty and to participate in clinical rotations. for a few international schools, particularly those within the Caribbean during which virtually everything of the category is headed for residency within us , they’re going to follow this pattern also.
Timing is often an element for a few U.S. graduates, too. for instance, if you’ve got an excellent grade on USMLE Step 1 and you’re applying to a moderately competitive speciality, you’ll want to think about delaying your Step 2 CK examination until after you’ve got applied and interviewed for residency. as an example, if you’ve got a 250 or 260 on Step 1 and you get a 240 on Step 2 CK, it causes you to look bad. If you’re applying in general medicine, or Psychiatry or Pediatrics, I don’t think this helped you. If, however, you bought a 220 on Step 1 then an equivalent grade of 240 causes you to look better. However, if you’re applying to Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Orthopedics or a really competitive speciality, you’ll get to establish high grades on both Step 1 and Step 2 CK to realize credibility. rock bottom line is, if you’re a U.S. student with a high score on Step 1 and don’t absolutely need an excellent grade on Step 2 CK to urge in, then why chance it? Wait until February or March or April of your fourth year once you are past the appliance process.

User Reviews For Current Diagnosis and Treatment Critical Care 3rd Edition PDF

  1. This book is very good, I am a pulmonary and critical care fellow starting my fellowship and I needed a book to start with. very nice book, easy approach, explain physiology and gives practical information. more than enough for medical students. very great for resident or fellows

  2. Difficult subject matter, but this book breaks critical care topics down making the subjects enjoyable to read! Helpful for new PAs entering the ICU.

  3. I am liking this book. Its a bit broad in subject matter obviously but still good reading. Its a nice reference to have at home. Usually I find myself looking stuff up after I get home from taking care of an especially sick patient. If you work in critical care I would reccommend this book.
